Abstract

The paper presents the results of a study carried out in the framework of solving the problem of scattering a spherical wave from a monopole radiation source on a of sound-permiable spheres system located in 3D space. Main goal is determining the sensitivity of the system's response to changes in the initial data (the sphere radius and the Cartesian coordinates of their centers) for different ratios of the physical parameters of the sphere and the environment (density and speed of sound) for two different types of system configurations. The solution to the problem was obtained using a generalized calculation technique based on the fast multipole method, through a series of computational experiments. It is shown that in all considered cases the system is highly sensitive to small random changes in the initial data, and the type of configuration and the relationship between the physical parameters of the environment inside the spheres and the external environment are significant factors.
