Abstract
On September 10, 2025, at the age of 83, the former head of the Department of Physical Electronics and Nanophysics at Bashkir State University (now the Department of Electronics and Physics of Nanostructures at Ufa University of Science and Technology), an outstanding physicist, one of the most prominent world-class specialists in the field of emission electronics and physics of surface nanostructures, Professor Rauf, died after a long illness.
