Abstract

An electrically conductive filament based on acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) and functionalized single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT) of the Tuball was developed and fabricated. SWNT functionalization was carried out by acid treatment in HNO₃/H₂SO₄ (3:1). A laboratory-scale bipolar plate (BPP) specimen with serpentine gas distribution channels was fabricated by fused deposition modeling (FDM). The electrical conductivity of samples with filler concentration of 1,5 wt.% printed at the optimal temperature of 250 °C reached 1.1 × 10⁻3 S/cm. The feasibility of using the developed composite for prototyping BPPs for low-power electrochemical devices is discussed.
